Biography: Wendy Heagy Wendy Heagy was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She ventured to New York to pursue her dance and acting career and has since danced with several concert dance companies and toured nationally and internationally. Wendy has performed on Broadway and has also appeared in feature films here in the U.S. On February 17, 1996, Wendy received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She rededicated her life to Him on April 11, 1997 and continues to thank Him for her salvation each and every day. Wendy knows that the Lord created and loves the arts and is at this time co-laboring with many other dance ministries through street ministry, on the missions’ field and where ever the Lord calls her. She believes and has seen through the dance, the Gospel of Peace being spread and many souls being won, healed, delivered and re-dedicated to Jesus Christ. Wendy loves the Lord with all of her Spirit, Soul and Body. She knows that He is the founder of Raise Him Up Ministry and School. All that is accomplished is for His Glory and Honor alone. He is the Head and she truly believes as the Body of Christ unites, we will see great and mighty things occur within the ministry of dance. Vision Proverbs 29: 18 Where there is no vision, the people perish. The vision is a building in the well-known Broadway theatre district of New York City that will house a Christian School of the Arts. Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Students will learn the biblical principals for dance ministry and be trained and encouraged to use their gifts for the Honor and Glory of the King. They will be given technical training at basic, adv/beginner and intermediate levels.  Students will be equipped with valuable lessons for street outreach through the arts and will be sent out to various areas of the Time Square area to minister. Religious Dance Degree programs will be made available through a highly reputable affiliate distance learning university. The desire of God’s heart is, “that none should perish,”therefore, these doors will be open to the saved as well as the unsaved, believing that by lifting up the name of Jesus, all men will be drawn unto Him and come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior. Raise Him Up School and Ministry is accountable to God and to those whom the Lord has put in place to give wise and godly council.

We Believe The Lord Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. We believe that He died on the cross for our sins and that he rose again and now sits at the right hand of His Father in Heaven. Salvation We believe that all men are born of a sinful nature and that the work on the cross has redeemed us from the power of sin. We believe that salvation is available to all who will receive it. The Holy Spirit We believe in the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit. The Holy Scriptures We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God's will for all of mankind.  Evangelism We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the earth. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelismin their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.

Technique, Motion and Praise Saturdays – 10:00 – 11:30am This class is designed for those who want to have an opportunity to study basic Ballet, Modern and Jazz dance techniques in a Christian setting. The focus is to provide basic dance technique and to cultivate discipline and strength. Striving to add to and expand the vocabulary you may already have. There is no dance experience required for this class. Just come with an open mind and heart to receive all that the Lord has for you

Rules & Attire Class starts promptly at indicated time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled class to allow yourself enough time to change and sign in. There is a 10-minute grace period extended after which, no one will be allowed into class. We ask that each student (male/female/child) dress in comfortable, loose clothing that is neither see-through nor revealing. Women should wear leotards under t-shirts. The class is at times fast moving so, when choosing attire, please keep that in mind. Please do not wear chains, large earrings, watches or bracelets in class.

Private Group Classes-We are presently teaching private group lessons in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Upper Manhattan and Pennsylvania. Should you desire to implement private ongoing group classes or short-term group classes please let us know. These classes are specifically useful to dance ministries that cannot make our regularly scheduled classes in midtown Manhattan, NY or desire to have extra training. It is our desire to see each ministry come into the fullness of their God given gift. Thank you for visiting us. You are not here by chance but this is a divine appointment ordained by God, the Father. Therefore, we give all praise and glory to God for you. If God has spoken to your heart through something you've read on this Website and you are not saved, please take this divine opportunity and pray this prayer. This is the day of Salvation! We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Although the wages of sin is death, the gift of God, which is available to you today, is eternal life through Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23). Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.No one comes to the Father except through Me(John 14:6). If you call upon the name of the Lord, you shall be saved. Prayer, Father, in the name of Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe The Holy Bible to be true. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Son of God and I believe in my heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead again for my sins. Lord, Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I repent and turn away from a life of sin and I will live for you. Come into my life as my personal Savior and fill me with your Holy Spirit. I thank you for saving me. We pray that the Spirit of God will lead you to a local assembly where you will be taught the infallible Word of God and build your faith.
